Hi, What wonderful shepherds , I lost my last gsd “Gerry” in 2011, like yours straight backed big and last of the line. I bought my first gsd in 1963 , It is so nice to see them being breed the way they were then, welldone I stopped showing in early eighties because of the way the breed had gone .I enjoyed looking at your wonderful dogs , I’m in my seventies now, so Gerry was the last , thankyou so much .

Just looking through your site and I’m very impressed with the temperament and looks of your dogs. I recently lost my gsd Jinda last week through cancer, she was 10yrs old. Needless to say I’m just lost without her. When I’m ready I would love to get in contact with reference to a pup from yourselves.

Hi Jackie! We just wanted to say we have our lovely boy Alfie nearly a week now! Absolutely adorable like all your dogs! I asked for a lively pup and Jackie lived up to her promise!! He’s completely taken over the living room and the couch already 😋
Lenny had a long journey from Donegal! But Alfie arrived safe and well!
Thanks a lot! In touch soon!

Just a week ago we took delivery of our beautiful Alsace Royale puppy Elsa. Already she is very much part of our family and even our two elderly cavaliers are warming to her! She is all I had hoped for and more. She is stunning looking ,smart ,affectionate and has a wonderful temperament . On our regular early morning walks on the Burrow Beach in Sutton she is much admired by everyone we meet. Many thanks to Jackie for all her hard work and dedication in turning out such magnificent examples of what a German shepherd should be! My thanks also to Lenny and his team for the professional and efficient courier service. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

Jackie,

Having spoken to you pre-Christmas regarding the latest litter we waited anxiously to meet our new addition and the arrival of Pat at the pre-arranged time near Bristol was spot on. Paperwork and pup handed over professionally and the pup was calm and in fine fettle after the ferry crossing. The courier van was well kitted out and all the dogs within the van were well taken care of.

Just to let you know that your “wee man” from Troy and Elsa’s December 2013 litter has totally transformed our lives.

Back home in Cornwall the “wee man” had a couple of days without being named just so we could see and understand his ways and thinking. Had the name Sheila on the back burner but naturally was not required. Having seen him in action we have named him Mac.
This coming Wednesday will his third week with us and believe it or not, he has grown two inches in length and two inches to the shoulder in those 19 days. I personally find the pup food beats porridge and certainly improves ones sense of smell.
Mac has met our neighbours who mainly have working dogs. We are surrounded by sheep and pheasants so it was important they all should meet the new member of the Community. No aggro and Mac won everyone over within 15 minutes.
We have geese and ducks wandering around and whilst most intrigued by them, Mac has learned very quickly to sit and watch. He did run up to a goose within the first week but the goose did not move and Mac stopped dead in his tracks. All are getting on fine now and he knows not to chase them.
His sense of smell is excellent and he loves to work out where treats are hidden following his light training sessions. The local vets were most impressed when we booked Mac in for his first local veterinary registration and all remarked on him being such a fine specimen and all wanted to know where he came from. His adult coat is just starting to show down his back.
This is the first installment and just wanted you to know Jackie, that Mac is definitely full on and he loves company. Sending you a couple of pics so rest assured your wee man is having a great time. Jill and I have a new lease of life by having this chap following us everywhere.
Yours Aye,
Rob & Jill

Just thought that you would like to know that ‘Storm’ (Alsace Royale Crocus) from Troy and Elsa’s Christmas litter is now 25kgs – the rest of us have lost weight (including Lily the ten-year-old Lab/Retriever) from running around after this little dynamo.

Storm is quite skinny, but is now taking over 600gms every day of Pro-plus athletic puppy dry food.

He is obvisiouly used to being around horses as he went straight up, nose to nose with our two neighbouring donkeys and no bother. All fine on that score. Secondly I had the tractor out and happened to be ploughing when he came up (first time he saw the tractor) and without any fear or concern he picked up a stick and started to chew on it about three feet from the furrows whilst I worked away. He loves company.

We will keep in touch,

My Dad and I have been very fortunate to have been blessed with Alsace Royale’s Yaya as our new companion. Yaya came from Troy and Storms litter in March 2013 and she has been an absolute joy from day one. She wasted no time whatsoever in finding her feet and making herself right at home, and quickly grew very attached to us. She loves nothing more than being with her pack in the house and gets up and follows us everywhere.

You would definitely know Yaya is Storms’ daughter, because just like her Mother she can be a wee rascal. Wanting to play chasies with the oven gloves used to be an old favourite. We wouldn’t change anything about her – she is so friendly, just loves to meet new people and other dogs and has an amazing temperament. Even the class tutor in the Obedience Classes we go to remarked that she has never seen a German Shepherd with such a good temperament. She is always so happy to see us after we have been out for a while. We keep thinking she is going to hurt herself one of these days because she greets us so enthusiastically wagging her tail that much you can hear it thumping off everything.

Yaya simply adores going into the park on her long walks and playing fetch. She is so smart, picks things up SO quickly (I taught her to rollover on command in one lesson) and just loves to learn new tricks all the time. After her walks she loves nothing more than sitting on her couch with us while we watch television and just looks so content being with us.

Choosing Alsace Royale German Shepherds has been one of the best decisions we have ever made. We would recommend Jackie to anyone as our Yaya is everything we could have ever hoped for.

Hi Jackie, its Frank Horne from Alloa here, just to say our wee man has turned into big man now and in the photo he is 7 months old. He`s quite a character. His temperament is spot on and he rumbles with our 6 and 8yr old grandsons at will. A few months ago they got the better of him but now he holds more than his own with them. They play “running with the bulls” with him in our garden, similar to running with the bulls that the Spanish do in Pamplona, the only difference he catches the kids more often than the bulls do in Pamplona. He gets loads of compliments about his size, colour and temperament. He is a great addition to our family and now he is getting older we can`t wait to take him longer walks in the local forests with the kids, hopefully the days get drier and sunnier. Frank.

Hi Jackie

From Claudia and me, I wanted to say what a pleasure it was to meet you yesterday, together with your lovely children, and of course the dogs.

I must say Claudia and I were somewhat taken aback when we met Thunder at the door, particularly given you weren’t present! But when he came over to us and brushed into me just wanting some love, I was smitten! He, like all the other dogs we met, were truly wonderful. A special place will stay with me though when I met the big boy Troy.

All we’ve done is talk about (with excitement) how our lives will change when we eventually have one of your little boys next year. I even think Jingles is looking forward to meeting her new brother – or adopted son maybe?

Naming the new boy is proving fun at the moment, but we will let you know.

Once again, many thanks for your openness and kindness. We will make contact early in 2015 to discuss timescales etc.

Paul and Claudia.

Hi – I have been looking at your website, with which I am very impressed indeed !! I have a 7 month old straight backed bitch, ‘Lucky’. I have had GSD’s for the last 30 years or so as I absolutely love them. I suffer from MS and find Lucky brings me such love and calming influence, and keeps me going.
I shall keep you in mind because no doubt in the future I would like to have one of your beautiful dogs!!
Best regards

My whole experience with Alsace Royal has been a real pleasure, from researching a good breeder to now, where I have my beautiful puppy in my home with her new family.
I have always adored this gorgeous breed. We owned one when I was a young girl. Since this time my adoration has stayed with me.
I started searching last year, as I felt the time was right for my own family to experience this nobel bread. I looked on sites and spoke with many breeders, however none ticked all the boxes like Jacky’s wonderful dogs.
I have children so it was imperative for me to have a dog with a superb temperament. also I wanted a straight backed GSD as I feel it cruel the way they are being breed these days. It is not a natural stance the way the hind legs slant at an angle.
After first making contact with Jacky about a year ago I knew that I wanted an Alsace Royal puppy.Jacky was great and offered me lots of advice over the months about not just her dogs, but the breed in general.
We decided that August was a good month to get our puppy. Princess Alscia and Troy had a litter that were good to go.
Originally the plan was to travel over to Ireland from the uk, however financially this proved impossible. Jacky had told me about a man called Lenny that could bring my puppy over for a very reasonable price. I was a little apprehensive at first as I really wanted to choose my puppy and bring her home myself, however I couldn’t have chose a better puppy myself. Our Bella is the most beautiful puppy, not only has she looks to die for but she is everything we wanted. Playful, gentle, confident, intelligent and is at her happiest playing with my children.
My home feels complete, we couldn’t be without her. I would defiantly use Alsace Royal again in the future and highly recommend their services to others.
